About

Tips & Tricks are a pretty common term across the game dev community for various techniques that help simplify their game dev experience.

In the RPG Maker MV community, this term is no different, but sometimes, users are referring to Tips & Tricks as a part of the Yanfly Tips & Tricks series, where Lunatic Mode is used to create otherwise impossible effects in RPG Maker MV itself. These Tips & Tricks usually use a combination of plugins from the Yanfly Engine Plugins library to access their special notetags, which allow for this possibility in RPG Maker MV.

Yanfly's Tips & Tricks series started on October 14th, 2015 and ended March 1st, 2017.
